Barbara Burrell

Barbara Jo Burrell, 74, passed away in her home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
Barbara was born in Portales, New Mexico to James Loy and Roberta Foster. 
 
Barbara graduated from ENMU Portales as a young woman and had a long career as a registered nurse in New Mexico and Texas. She was a very caring and thoughtful person and will be missed every day.
 
Barbara’s surviving family includes daughter Laura Henry (Jerry) of Texas, niece Kristin Loy-Dillard (Andrew) of Colorado, sister-in-law Dixie Loy of Texas, 2 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nephew, grand-nephews, -niece and many cousins and loving friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Larry Loy.
 
Services for Barbara will be held at South Park Cemetery on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
