Anita Lidy

Our beloved Anita Lidy passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents Glen and Alma Thurman and brother David Thurman.

Anita was born March 19, 1958 in Butler, Mo and moved with her family to Roswell, NM in 1969.

Anita was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She always enjoyed being with her family and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anita had four children Johnny Lee, Kelly, Richard and Jason Kermode. She remarried Stephen Lidy on April 9, 2016. She loved taking vacations and occasional trips to casinos.

Anita made a career of being a health care provider, she was wanted by every health care company in Roswell because of her compassion toward those she cared for.

She is survived by her children Johnny Lee, Kelly, Richard and Jason; brother and sisters Linda, Tim, Becky and Pam. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
