No services will be held at this time for Andrew Affsprung, 37, of Roswell, who passed away on October 8, 2006 at his residence. Andrew will be cremated as per his wishes. The family requests no flowers please. Those wishing to sign the family register book may do so at the Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory.

Andrew is survived by his son, Christopher, his brother, Karl, and his parents, Wendell and Jo Lynne Affsprung. He will also be remembered dearly by Christophers mother, Renee Aguilar, Grandmother, Terry Madrid, Uncle Kenny Bud Brown, and many friends.

Born in Vermont in 1969, Andrew arrived in Roswell with his family in the summer of 1974. In his early years, he excelled in the classroom and on the soccer field and gathered several trophies in competitive bicycle races. He played both the piano and cello.

Throughout his brief life, Andrew was always adventurous, curious, witty, and fun-loving. As a young man, he was a loving father who enjoyed cars and motor bikes and many bike rides with his son Chris.

He was a delight for his parents. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We will never fully recover from his untimely death.

Personal anecdotes will be appreciated.
