" MY SON THROUGH MY EYES " - Dad- Brian Abirgas

Adrian Isaiah Abirgas was born on January 13, 1999 in Roswell New Mexico, to his father Brian Abirgas. On that day may life would change forever. That is where he got his nickname Bird from, because i said he's my beautiful baby bird. He made me realize It was time to grow up and take care of him and his brother Christian like a good Dad is supposed to do. He was a wonderful baby always smiling and laughing. In his younger years he always loved excitement. He loved to be on the water in the boat fishing, or riding on the motorcycle with me. He was always helping as a young boy. Helping his Grandma and Grandpa on the property, on the roof, on vehicles, even when we would go chop wood he was always right there in the mix ready to work with a smile on his face. The time I had with him through his younger years was pure joy and good times, he was always full of happiness and smiles. When he was in middle school, he came to stay with his grandmother and I and began school in Dexter. The next year we moved to Artesia New Mexico. He began his life in a new place and took to the change with nothing but happiness and love. We were a big family. He lived with his father, and mother figure Patricia, brothers Simon, little Adrian, and sisters Savannah, Brianna, and Nadia. All through Jr High he was involved in football and was a great student and was even on Artesia's first wrestling team, and even had the chance to compete at state in Albuquerque New Mexico. Once he started High School he continued his good grades and was on the football team and bowling team all through high school. And with all he was doing he was still always around helping with anything he could whether it be the younger kids softball practices, helping me with car show stuff, or helping the family at home, he was always willing to do whatever it took for other peoples happiness. Seeing him grow from a young boy to a handsome young man were some of my proudest moments. From him getting his first job at sonic, to going to home coming, and of course to his senior prom driving my lowrider. It was such a blessing and amazing moment watching that young man graduate as a Artesia Bulldog. He has made me so proud to be his father, and I wish I had the chance to tell him more. He was such a amazing son and always will be. Once out of High School he began school at ENMU in Roswell. He moved in with Grandma back in Dexter behind the airport to be close to campus. He than started a job at Enterprise car rental and even bought himself his first car. As time went on he decided that he wanted to leave his grandmothers house and go on his own. One of the last real conversations we had before he moved on, I remember a few simple words that would mean the world to me. He said "Dad I love you, but you did what you were supposed to do. You made sure I made it through school and was there for me, but I'm grown now and I am going to do what I want to do now", and gave me a hug. I remember him through my eyes and was blessed to have him in my life for so many years and wish he was here to make up for all the years I missed once he decided to go on his own. Adrian Isaiah Abirgas was truly a special baby, a special boy, a special young man, and a special man. I love you with all my heart and soul and I'm so sorry you have left this earth, " ITS GOD'S PLAN SON, NEVER OURS, YOUR IN A BETTER PLACE MY BEAUTIFUL BABY BIRD!"

LOVE IS ETERNAL

LOVE DAD.

Exodus 14:14

" The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still. "

John 14:2

" In My Fathers house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. "

Adrian grew up with his older brother Christian Smith and his little sister, Alani Smith, aside from his siblings on his fathers side. Adrian was strong, and very hard headed, which benefited him in every way. He did not follow, Adrian was a leader. He is loved by so many family, friends, and even strangers that met him briefly.
