Virginia Juarez

February 22, 1955 ~ September 20, 2019 (age 64)

 

Virginia (Virgie) R. Juarez 64 years old, has been granted her angel wings ion September 20, 2019.  Her final days were spent surrounded by family.

Virgie was born, February 22, 1955 to Camilo N.& Teresa G. Martinez in Roswell, Virgie lived her whole life in Roswell she graduated from Roswell High School in 1973.  She started working as a CNA/EMT at St. Mary’s Hospital shortly after graduation.  This is where she met her future husband Raymundo Juarez.  They married on September 26, 1980, they would have celebrated 39 years.  During their marriage they were blessed with 3 beautiful children. 

Virgie worked at St. Mary’s Hospital until it closed.  In her busy life with raising a family she continued her study and obtained her Associate Degree in. nursing from ENMU-R in 1995 she also completed BSN degree in 2000 with the University of Phoenix.  She worked many years in the Emergency Department then transferring to ENMMC- Family Medicine Residency Center where she developed special friendship with future doctors.  After her illness progressed, she then went to work with cadets at NMMI until her retirement in 2012.

Virgie was beautiful person, wonderful wife, Mom, Nana, sister, Tia, cousin & friend.  To those who knew her she enjoyed working with her hands and tried new crafts, from stained glass making, card making, crocheting, cross stitchig, adult coloring, to watching the beautiful hummingbirds outside her front window & watching Ray fish.  

Those who precede Virgie are her parents Camilo N. & Teresa Martinez, Son; Camilo (Milo) Juarez, Sister; Juanita (Juana) Martinez, Grandson, Noah L. Alexander.

Those left to cherish her memories her husband Raymundo R. Juarez, Son Ray R. Juarez, daughter Jessica R. Juarez, grandchildren Jacobi Alexander, Emiliano Juarez & Mila Juarez.  Brother Alfonso Martinez.  Sisters: JoAnn Martinez, Mary J. Mendoza, Darlene Montoya (Alfred).  Nieces: Monica Mendoza, Crystal Aragon & Taneesha Adams.  Nephews; Asapito L. Mendoza, Timothy & Alfred Montoya, Richard Martinez, Special cousins: Pauline & Mary.  Best friend Vlasia (Lassie) Hantakas (Virgie met her as a freshman in high school). Sassy her cat & dog Blanca. Special thanks to Dr. R. Martinez, his family & office staff.
