Services will be scheduled at a later date for Winnie Jo Hyslop, 88, who passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Roswell Regional Hospital. Winnie was cremated according to her wishes.
Winnie was born November 29, 1921 in Winters, Texas to Bert King and Charlotte Edwards. Her parents have preceded her in death.
Winnie married Dr. Henry R. Hyslop in Del Rio, TX on June 5, 1951, he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is her sister Sue Mathews.
Winnie is survived by her sons: Don Hyslop and wife Eileen of La Jolla, CA and William Hyslop of Westminster, CO., daughter: Candace Hyslop of Capitan, NM., and a sister Tanella Glen of Naples, FL.
Winnie was a longtime volunteer for ENMMC Auxillary. She was a member of the Roswell Assistance League. She really enjoyed line dancing at the Sr. Olympics and was a member of The Roswell One Liners Senior Line Dancing Group.
