A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at South Park Cemetery, for Isidro (Chilo) C. Rodriguez, 78, of Roswell who passed away March 1, 2010 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Mr. Rodriguez will be cremated according to his wishes.
Isidro was born on May 15, 1931 in Mesilla Park, NM to Jose N. Rodriguez and Maria Corral Rodriguez. His parents have preceded him in death as well as one sister, Emma Rico.
Isidro is survived by his sisters: Virginia Silva, Ramona Velasquez and Elisa Compean. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
Isidro was a life long resident of Roswell and member of St. John’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed “cruising” his truck all over town, going fishing, hunting, and also visiting with family and friends. He was also proud to have served his country in the Korean War.
