Billie L. Tucker, surrounded by her loving family, peacefully left earth for her heavenly home on January 25, 2010. The former Roswell resident was born on December 22, 1921 in Amarillo, Texas and lived in Midland, Texas from 1994 until her passing.

She was married to Robbie Robbins from 1944-1961 who was the father of her four children. After Robbie’s death she was married to Ernest C. Tucker from 1967-1992 when he passed away.

She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Jimmy Robbins, of Gautier, MS and her step-son Fred Tucker of Roswell, NM. She is survived by her children, Mary Robbins, (Jimmy’s wife) Jerry and Sandy Robbins of Albuquerque, NM, David and Claire Robbins of Denver, CO, Billie and Scott Petersen of Midland, TX, her step-children, Bill and Adelaide Tucker of Albuquerque, NM, Bob and Cathy Tucker of Roswell, NM, Phyllis Tucker (Fred’s wife) of Roswell, NM, Janie Acosta of Albuquerque, NM, and her baby brother, Jim Stegall of Scottsdale, AZ. She also loved and enjoyed her nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A family graveside service was held at 11:30 am Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the South Park Cemetery in Roswell, NM. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Home Hospice, 901 W. Missouri, Midland, Texas 79701 or the charity of your choice.
