Joyce Ann (England) Ware passed away May 9, 2017 in the comfort of her home. She is missed and loved by many in Roswell, NM. Joyce was born in Oklahoma on February 14, 1946 to George and Betty England and was the granddaughter of Virgil and Thelma Hiser.
She was an advocate of children in Roswell and helped to start the Roswell Youth Soccer League. Joyce was on the Chaves County Historical Society Board, helped with teen court, and aided in opening the UFO Museum in Roswell, NM, and many other community projects.
She married the love of her life, T. Dale Ware, on June 18, 1966 and they had 4 children; Jason A. Ware of Ruidoso, NM, Jarod A. Ware of Hobbs, NM, Traci Ware-Fairfield and her husband Jason D. Fairfield of Roswell, NM, and Joel A. Ware and his wife Veronica Ware of Roswell, NM.
She was also blessed with 9 grandchildren including Steaphan Shepherd, Tovian Shepherd, Jadin Ware, Nicholas Ross, Dylan Ross, Cameron Fairfield, Dylan Fairfield, Steven Olivas, and Seleste Olivas, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Joyce will be remembered for her big heart and for all her contributions to her family and home town.

Private family services were held with her late mother, Betty Joyce England, on Friday, May 12, at South Park Cemetery in Roswell, NM.
